Established in 1980 in Chengdu, China, SCTOOLS has evolved into a premier, vertically integrated manufacturer and global enterprise specializing in high-precision metal cutting tools, precision measuring instruments, machine tool accessories, and mold components. We combine decades of industrial heritage with advanced manufacturing technology to serve clients worldwide.

Our Growth & Corporate Milestones

Our journey is defined by continuous expansion, strategic global acquisitions, and state-of-the-art infrastructure upgrades:

• 1980: Company established in Chengdu, China, initiating our manufacturing of cutting tools and accessories for metal and wood working.
• 1999: West Tools Co., Ltd. established, significantly increasing our carbide and HSS cutting tools and tool holders manufacturing capacity.
• 2014: DASQUA SRL (Lodi, Italy) acquired, and our European service center started operation from Italy, strengthening our global reach.
• 2015: Harlingen cutting tools started sales in Italy and across all European countries.
• 2018: An international CNAS-approved testing laboratory was established in the DASQUA headquarters, completing our full inspection and testing line.
• 2023: Investment joint venture with Product Engineers Corp. (CA, USA) completed, launching a new range of tools made in the USA.
• 2025: Completion of our new 350,000 sq ft headquarters and manufacturing complex in Shuangliu, Chengdu, equipped with full functions of manufacturing, R&D test lab, distribution, repairing, and global service.
• 2026: DASQUA (Malaysia) SDN. BHD. established in Penang, largely increasing our diversified global supply chain.

As a true manufacturing enterprise, we operate our massive 350,000 sq ft production and R&D complex in Chengdu. Our workshop floor is equipped with advanced multi-axis CNC grinding machines, automated heat-treatment lines, and precision inspection equipment, ensuring strict control over the entire production lifecycle.
